November 24, 2006, Newsletter Issue #40: It's All in the Cards

Tip of the Week

When buying memory cards for a pro-digital camera it's best to think big…as far as space goes. A 256 mb card might offer a 4 megapixel camera over 100 pictures. However, that same card in an 8 megapixel camera would obviously have considerably less picture space.

When it comes to your digital camera, the best thing to do is upgrade size. Go for a card with about a gig of power. Also, if you are going on long photo assignments you might want to invest in an external hard drive. This device is a portable storage for photos. So, you can keep your card free so you can keep shooting.
