Take a Closer Look at Art
Creepy crawlers can make great art! Sometimes the greatest subject for digital art photography is right under your nose (or even your feet). The micro-world of insects, plants, and even dirt can be beautiful.
The everyday objects we pass by everyday can be amazing if captured the right way—you can find beauty in odd places. If you do set out to capture these tiny wonders, however, make sure your camera is right for the job. Not only do you need lots of mega-pixels to really highlight every teeny-tiny detail, but you also need a powerful lens. High-end digital cameras usually possess both. They also have the ability to switch out different lenses. So, if you're not getting the close-up shots you want…you can always upgrade.
