May 11, 2007, Newsletter Issue #64: Ahhh, Sweet Memory

1

Tip of the Week

Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of some digital cameras is that they do not have enough memory (right out of the box your camera may only allow you to take a measly 20 digital photos at a time). This, however, is a problem that can be easily resolved.

Most digital cameras have a slot that accepts memory cards or memory sticks. These devices are no bigger than a postage stamp, yet can hold tons of megabyte memory. So, when you place the card in the camera you have the ability to take more pictures. Another advantage of these cards is that they are removable so you can transfer them to other tech devices (like computers) with ease.

*One thing to keep in mind about these cards is the bigger the memory the bigger the bigger bucks you pay. Though, if you are an avid photographer you might want to make that investment. A bigger card means lots more digital photo space at your disposal so you won't miss those picture perfect moments.
