Another great benefit of capturing memories with a digital camera is that, with image editing, the photo comes out the way you want it to. This can be a huge help with scrapbooking.

With film photos you are at the mercy of the standard snapshot print itself. Sure you can cut photos into shapes—but it will look like you cut up a photo. On the other hand, with digital photos and image editing software, you can print photos in any shape you want (you can also alter the photo's colors, add frames, and even add icon symbols).
