September 7, 2007, Newsletter Issue #80: Mounting Makes it Easier

Tip of the Week

Mounting is all the rage! With all the tech tools available (like digital cameras, computers and software) making digital enlargements can be a quick and painless process. It's because of this ease that super-sized images are now commonplace.

If you know you'll be using a giant-sized visual, you might want to think about mounting the image after it prints. There are many benefits to mounting your digital images:

• Mounting an image on a board makes it easy to transport (larger photos are very flexible and tend to flip-flop all over the place)
• Not having to roll up the image greatly decreases the chance of creases or rips
• Mounted images are a lot easier to display or present
