Pentax watchers are all abuzz this week. A silhouette and count-down clock have appeared on Pentax's Japanese website.

Could it be the long-awaited, on-again-off-again Pentax 645D? This digital version of Pentax's popular medium format film camera has been in and out of development at least since 2007

It's hard to tell from the silhouette. But Japan's CP+ show is coming up shortly, and that would be the prefect venue for Pentax to re-enter the medium format arena.
