No More Lists of the Top-Ten Digital Cameras, Please

If I see another list of "the top ten digital cameras," I'll scream.

Is Leica's new S2, with it's 37.5 MP senosr (50% larger than a standard pro SLR sensor), a top-ten digital camera? Probably... if you're a well-heeled pro or high-level hobbyist.

But not if you're family snapshooter.

And that's the problem with top-ten lists. Especially with product categories as diverse as digital cameras. What's great for one user may be next-to useless to another.

So, instead of a year-end top-ten list, I'll simply wish you all Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year.
