February 3, 2006, Newsletter Issue #2: Printing Pixels

Tip of the Week

We all know that digital photos can be displayed and stored on your computer but did you know they can also be printed on your home computer? If you wantr to print out your digital images at home, however, remember that not all printers print equally.

Some of the lower end printer models are great for type and simple graphics, however, for detailed pictures they might be less than spectacular. Make sure you ask about how the printer handles photo quality before you buy anything. Also, before printing you should look at the size of megapixels of the digital photo (a lower count of megapixels will cause the image to break up when you’re printing larger sizes).
