April 28, 2006, Newsletter Issue #13: Home vs. Help

Tip of the Week

Size matters! And, with digital imaging, you can format your digital shots to be whatever size you want. To print digital photo versions on a printer is pretty much a cinch. Printing sizes up to 8 1/2” X 11” can easily be done in your own home. However, if you want to go even larger (say to 11” X 17”) you probably will need outside help because most personal printers today are still designed to be pretty small (the largest size it would most likely accept is 8 1/2” x 11” paper).

* If you do find yourself in the situation where you are sending out prints for digital enlargements, make sure you provide them with a high resolution image so you will have a better chance of getting a higher quality digital enlargement.
